Everything changed when I met the owner of a tile company who saw potential in me and offered me an apprenticeship. That opportunity sparked something in me. My commute back then was pretty unique—flying in a Cessna to Nantucket on Sundays and returning to the South Shore on Fridays. It was an exciting and eye-opening time that laid the foundation for the work I love today.
